Programme Overview

The Community Health Department prepares Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) to deliver essential healthcare services at the grassroots level. Training covers health education, maternal and child health, disease prevention, and basic clinical care.<br>

Entry Requirements

• Educational background: Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).

• Age requirement: Minimum age of 16 years.

• Entrance assessment: Successful performance in the college’s entrance exam and interview.
